Features
Support horizontal and vertical measurement orientation:
Different applications and use cases require different beam orientations. For testing and development purposes, directed energy systems usually use a horizontal beam. However, in industrial settings, vertical beams are often preferred due to process requirements and safety considerations. The system is designed to perform measurements both horizontally and vertically, offering the flexibility needed to accommodate varying operational and safety needs.
Operational safety:
The system guarantees operational safety with an extremely low back reflection of <0.5% and a built-in interlock output, offering several configurable trigger criteria. Together, these features are essential for ensuring safety in high-power environments.
Real time laser power monitoring:
There are cases, users may want to check the stability of their laser or use an indication on laser power as an input to one of their systems. By using the integrated photodiode output of the 70K-W, it is possible to accommodate these needs, enabling direct connection to third-party devices for monitoring laser stability or providing instantaneous control and feedback.
Easy integration with 3rd part systems:
The 70K-W can be part of a larger system and requires integration. This can be achieved using Ethernet, RS232 communication interfaces, or an analog output. The sensor can operate with regular tap water or deionized water to accommodate different cooling systems.
